What happens

Homer, a bald, heavy man in a white shirt with stubble, holds a red telephone to his ear in a doorway and scowls, his mouth tightening across the first two moments. Bart, the spiky-haired boy in an orange shirt and blue shorts, then talks on a blue telephone against a brown wall, smiling and resting his hand on his chin before standing in a pink room with a paddleball paddle in hand. Afterward, a small red paddleball on a string bounces near the pink ceiling beside a red-shaded lamp, an arched doorway, and a framed picture on the wall.
