What happens

Homer, bald and wearing a white uniform, sits at the right of a long table in a room with chain-link windows, while a thin brown-haired man with a pencil sits at the left and a red-shirted man with reddish hair sits in front of a grey, white-haired figure seen from behind in the center. Homer lifts a pencil toward his mouth, and the lab-coated technicians in the foreground, one in a cap and one with glasses holding papers, watch from a control booth with three monitors showing faces above. The scene is lit by a ceiling light and surrounded by panels and dials, with papers stacked on the table.
