What happens

Homer Simpson, the bald heavyset man in a blue shirt and glasses, lies in bed under an orange-and-purple blanket, reading an orange-covered book with a worried, grimacing expression while Marge, with her tall blue beehive, lies beside him at the edge of the frame. Homer's eyes shift and his mouth opens wider as he keeps reading. The scene then cuts to a close view of Marge in bed, wide-eyed and staring sideways as she holds a small book or magazine. Last, a plate of steaming, gingerbread-brown cookies shaped like little men with green-striped faces and squiggly arms and legs sits on a white plate on a blue surface.
