What happens

Mr. Burns, frail and stooped in a lab coat with a gloved hand, and his thin assistant Smithers in glasses stand at a workbench beside a blue mechanical claw. The opening close-ups show the metal claw crackling with blue electricity that fades, while its segmented arm and fingers shift position over a dark table. In the final wide shot, Burns gestures toward the claw as Smithers looks on, with a blue machine panel and a round gauge in the background.
