What happens

Lisa, the girl with star-shaped spiky hair in a red dress and pearl necklace, sits at the end of a brown couch in a pink living room, and Homer, the bald heavy man in a white shirt and blue pants, sits on the couch holding a green telephone receiver to his ear. Homer listens with a worried expression, then clenches his teeth and raises a fist in frustration while gripping the phone. Later he sits hunched with his hands pressed together at his mouth and a scowl, while Lisa watches him from the right with her hands folded in her lap. A teal telephone sits on a side table with a lamp, a framed sailboat picture hangs on the wall, and an open cardboard box lies on the green rug in the foreground.
