What happens

Lisa Simpson, with her spiky star-shaped hair, red dress and pearl necklace, sits on a blue bed holding a small book titled Eternity 2525 and looks toward Bart Simpson, the spiky-haired boy in his orange shirt, who sits beside her and gestures with one hand. In the opening frames, a large hand in a book labeled Future Appendage with a grey page of text is held up and pointed at, while a green alien in a striped beanie peeks from behind it. Lisa then reads the book on the bed and Bart talks to her with an animated expression and open hand, as a bedroom door and a dark-framed object sit in the background.
