What happens

Homer, the bald, heavy man with stubble in a white shirt, sits in front of a framed picture of a sailboat and begins with a sleepy, half-lidded stare before slowly closing his eyes and dropping his head. The scene then cuts to a purple advertisement held up in the foreground, showing Dr. Marvin Monroe, a cartoon man with a bushy yellow beard and a red-and-blue shirt, grinning while holding a fan of cassette tapes, and the words 'DR. MARVIN MONROE SUBLIMINAL TAPE CLUB' and 'CALL KL5-3700' are printed on it, with a partial 'TURBO' banner and 'NEW' label along the bottom. The advertisement stays still across the final frames while the figure's expression and tapes remain unchanged.
