The Simpsons, “Cape Feare” (season 5, episode 2), 3:45–3:55
What happens
Lisa, the girl with star-shaped spiky hair in an orange dress and pearl necklace, laughs with her eyes shut at the start of the scene, while on a small TV screen a blue robotic arm with orange coils descends into a checkered-floored room. A blue cartoon mouse in a white coat runs past a wall outlet, and a black cartoon cat strapped to a blue board is zapped by a red beam from the arm while its feet smoke and its paws shake. The cat then slumps into a heap of black discs with purple rims beside a green machine with a dial, as the beam flickers above it.
