What happens

Marge Simpson, with her tall blue beehive, kneels beside a cardboard box in a living room, while Homer Simpson, in a white Witness Relocation Program shirt and cap, sits on a brown armchair holding a drink. Marge reaches into the box and pulls out a green item, then the scene cuts to a white houseboat on water, where Santa's Little Helper, the brown greyhound, is swimming and tugging at a rope tied to a wooden post. The dog thrashes in the water beside the post, with the rope stretched taut, and a lamp, a telephone and a framed sailboat picture are visible in the room.
