The Simpsons, “Marge on the Lam” (season 5, episode 6), 4:58–5:09
What happens
Troy McClure, with swept-back reddish hair and a pink leotard, and a dark-bunned ballerina in a white tutu and tiara perform on a brown gymnasium floor marked with blue circles and lines. The scene opens on the Springfield High School sign at night, reading "Tonight: Professional Ballet, Tomorrow: Closed to Fix Gas Leak" beside a "GYMNASIUM" sign. The dancers then pose in turn: he lifts his arms and kneels, she stands en pointe with her arms raised, and finally she extends one leg high while he supports her waist.
