What happens

Carl, a Black man in a tan sweater and blue pants, is on a town sidewalk in front of a bakery with a "BAK" sign, with a crowd of onlookers around him including a bald man in a dark suit and green tie, a mustached man in a blue suit, a blonde woman in a blue top and orange pants, a redhead in blue heels, and a spiky-haired boy in a green jacket who is likely Bart. At first Carl laughs and raises a pocket knife, then he steps forward and thrusts the knife out with one arm extended while the bystanders flinch, shield their eyes, and cover their mouths. A man lies face-up on the pavement in the foreground as Carl brandishes the knife over him.
