What happens

Homer Simpson, in a blue suit and pink striped tie, sits at a table beside a blue-and-white patterned vase and a glass, holding a fortune cookie slip reading 'You will find happiness with a new love' that he first shows up close and then holds near his face as he looks dismayed and grimaces. He pulls the slip back, leans into his chair and stares sideways with a pained expression. Then a woman with voluminous orange-red hair, a red sleeveless top and red lipstick, holding a glass of pale drink, glances to the side beside a purple curtain. The scene is set in a dim, reddish room with a purple curtain backdrop.
