What happens

Marge, Lisa and Bart stand on a grassy night-time lawn beside a huge grey elephant with long white tusks, while Homer, bald and in a white shirt, is sunk up to his neck in a mud pit in the foreground. In the first frames Homer's head and shoulders are visible above the mud as he stares wide-eyed and gapes with his mouth open, and Marge clasps her hands near her chest while Lisa and Bart watch. Homer then slips fully beneath the mud, leaving only his yellow hand and head partly visible, and bubbles rise from the pit. The family is left staring at the empty muddy hole, with Lisa and Bart reaching out with their arms, as the scene ends with the mud pit bare and its surface rippling.
