Bart stands at left beside a blue door with a window while Principal Skinner stands in the open doorway at right

What happens

Bart, the spiky-haired boy in an orange shirt, stands at left beside a blue door with a window while Principal Skinner, the neat grey-haired man in a navy suit and red tie, stands in the open doorway at right. Skinner begins by talking with one hand raised and a finger at his chin, then folds his arms across his chest with a stern, skeptical look, then resumes speaking with a hand at his chin and a wide-open mouth. He ends with a smug, closed-mouth grin with his arms still folded, while Bart watches him wide-eyed and unmoving. In the final moment Skinner has turned partly away from Bart, with his back toward the viewer, and lockers are visible behind him.
