What happens

Bart Simpson stands at the front of a classroom during show and tell, gesturing with his hands while his brown greyhound Santa's Little Helper walks around near a metal tray of cookies beside the chalkboard reading "Show + Tell". Teacher Mrs. Krabappel, with her tall brown hairdo and green sweater, stands at the left side watching, while classmates sit at wooden desks in the foreground. The dog sniffs at the tray, then in the final moment the whole class of students at their desks turns to look at the front and reacts with wide-eyed, open-mouthed expressions under the fluorescent ceiling lights.
