What happens

No regular characters appear in this sequence, which opens on a TV set in a pink-tinted room showing the credit 'Created by Matt Groening' in yellow letters on a blue screen. The screen then changes to 'Developed by James L. Brooks, Matt Groening, Sam Simon' and holds on that card before fading to black. The scene then cuts to an aerial view of the Springfield Mall, a large pink building with red letters reading 'SPRINGFIELD MALL' beside a blue building with 'Milestone's' partially visible, with cars driving along the streets and small figures walking on the sidewalks. A voice announces the Springfield Mall as the view settles on the outdoor lot and roads.
