What happens

Marge Simpson with her tall blue beehive, Patty and Selma with grey-violet hair, Ned Flanders with his moustache and green sweater, and Carl with his short black hair sit in rows of a crowded town meeting hall while a man in a purple suit stands at a wooden podium with a microphone in front of a red curtain. Several audience members, including Marge, Ned and the twins, raise their hands together and then hold them up, while the speaker keeps talking from behind the lectern. A projection screen and a green-walled room with framed art are visible behind the crowd.
