What happens

Homer Simpson, bald and heavy in a white shirt, and Marge Simpson, with her tall blue beehive and green top, appear first at a breakfast table where Homer reads a newspaper while Marge, Bart and Lisa eat nearby, then the scene moves to the living room where Homer sits on a red couch holding a teal phone receiver to his ear while Marge sits beside him holding a corn-patterned blanket and gesturing with a finger. Onscreen credits for producers Jonathan Collier, Ken Keeler and consulting producer David Mirkin appear over the living room scene, and a close view of a teal push-button telephone on a table sits between the two scenes. Homer keeps the phone to his ear, frowning and then clenching his teeth, while Marge looks on beside him.
