What happens

No regular characters appear in this sequence, which is a series of title cards on a pink-backed retro television set. The first card reads 'Created by Matt Groening' in yellow letters on the blue screen, followed by 'Developed by James L. Brooks, Matt Groening, Sam Simon' on the screen twice, then the screen fades to black. The final moment shows the Municipal House of Pancakes, a blue-roofed building with a sign reading 'Municipal House of Pancakes' on a tall post, with a white van and a red car parked in the lot under a clear blue sky.
