Mr. Burns and Homer stand face to face inside a blue log-walled cabin, with a round metal ball with rivets and scattered snow on the floor…

What happens

Mr. Burns, frail and stooped with a hooked nose and grey hair at the sides, and Homer, bald and heavy in a red sweater, stand face to face inside a blue log-walled cabin, with a round metal ball with rivets and scattered snow on the floor between them. They then leave the cabin and hike through snowy pine trees, Carl in a grey knit cap and green jacket and an unnamed man in a blue puffy jacket and fur-lined cap, both carrying backpacks, the blue-jacketed man in front with the red backpack and Carl behind with the blue one. The two stop on the snowy slope and look ahead, Carl with his mouth open as he speaks.
