What happens

Krusty the Clown, with green hair, a red nose, a pink shirt and a blue bow tie, appears inside a TV screen against a blue striped backdrop. He first pinches his gloved fingers together, then raises one gloved finger and grins broadly. Later he stands on a wooden stage beside a seated brown dog, spreading his gloved hands toward it with his mouth open.
