What happens

Homer Simpson, in a red plaid flannel shirt with a black collar and a yellow star pinned on it, stands outdoors beside a thin, dark-haired man in a light green vest over a pale shirt, with his arm draped across the man's shoulder. Evergreen trees and a red-and-white backdrop with a candy cane on a green panel surround them. The man talks with his mouth open while Homer smiles at him, then Homer's eye turns a bruised purple and he grimaces with clenched teeth as the man's mouth closes and his eyes glance sideways.
