What happens

Lisa Simpson, the girl with star-shaped spiky hair in a red dress and pearl necklace, sits on a bed holding a blue telephone to her ear beside a purple bedpost and a cash-register-like device on a nightstand. Over the moment she shifts from wide-eyed listening, to closing her eyes and raising a hand as if speaking or pleading, to looking up with her mouth open and then to a dejected, eyes-half-closed expression while the phone cord hangs down. A lamp with a green shade sits at the left edge against a pink wall.
