What happens

Bart, the spiky-haired boy in an orange shirt, peeks out from beside a pink wall in a doorway, his eyes darting and wide with worry. Santa's Little Helper, the family's brown greyhound, is seen first chewing on a stack of dark photo album pages with blue and yellow pictures on a orange floor, then Lassie-like brown-and-white collie dog holds a green garden hose in its mouth, spraying a stream of water onto a bed of white and orange flowers outside a window. Bart's expressions shift from nervous glancing to a shocked, open-mouthed stare as the scene cuts between the dogs and him.
