What happens

A grey-moustached captain in a blue coat and cap grips a large wooden ship's wheel in a wood-panelled wheelhouse, with a woman in a purple hat, fur-trimmed coat and pink skirt standing by a green door under a wall clock. The woman gestures and holds her hands together while the captain looks sideways, then he tugs a bell cord overhead. The scene cuts to an engine room with blue walls, pipes and gauges, where a man in a blue cap, orange sweater and brown trousers holds a metal scoop toward a pipe.
