What happens

A black-haired man in a pink short-sleeved shirt and blue tie sits with his arms folded in a red armchair behind a wooden desk, his eyes shifting sideways with a sour, unimpressed expression. An open book on a green stand and a box with the partial lettering "OVE JOY" sit on the desk in front of him, next to a grey tissue box. The scene then settles on a close view of a beige desk telephone with a coiled cord and keypad beside the open book, with a few lines of printed text visible on its page.
