Apu stands in a purple-walled room in front of a row of blue seats, with Marge and Lisa behind him in the audience

What happens

Apu, the Kwik-E-Mart owner in a green cardigan with orange trim and cream pants, stands in a purple-walled room in front of a row of blue seats, with Marge (tall blue beehive, red beads, green dress) and Lisa (spiky hair, pearl necklace) behind him in the audience. Across the moment he shifts from standing still with a faint smile to talking and gesturing with one hand, then grinning widely, turning and gesturing with an open palm toward the side, and finally settling back into a calm pose with his hands together at his waist. Other audience members, including a red-haired woman on the left and a bespectacled person behind him, look on throughout.
