What happens

Homer and Marge Simpson lie in bed under purple sheets in a purple bedroom, Marge with her arms crossed and a blue beehive, Homer in a blue shirt propped on one elbow. Homer talks and gestures with a pointing hand while Marge looks on, then he raises a hand to his ear and his mouth opens wide in surprise. The scene cuts to an empty bed beside a dresser with a lamp and framed photo, Homer sitting up at the right with his mouth agape. Then Apu, the Kwik-E-Mart owner in a green sash, stands in a doorway holding a small white device and a folder, looking toward the bed beside a round mirror.
