What happens

Marge, Lisa and Bart come out of a doorway marked 7 at a snowy building, with Marge in a long green dress and tall blue beehive, Lisa in a red dress and Bart in an orange shirt. Then Homer, bald and heavy in a white shirt, hurries out behind them and the three children move along the walkway. Next, three men in grey suits, two of them bald-headed and one with neat reddish hair, step out of the doorway, each holding a rolled cigar, and the older man with grey hair in a light suit walks beside them. The group stands in a row on the walkway, the bald man lifting a hand to his face, and then they stand still in front of the open pink door. The scene cuts to a green sign reading "Welcome to Springfield" framed by snowy trees, and a red station wagon drives past it on the road.
