What happens

In the pink living room, Marge, with her tall blue beehive, holds Maggie, the baby with a pacifier and blue bow, while looking worried and speaking, as a figure in a light blue shirt stands at the right edge. Above the fireplace hangs a framed family portrait, and stockings marked BART hang on the mantel beside a wreath and a Christmas card. Nearby, Bart in his green sweater presses both hands to his cheeks, mouth open in alarm, then squeezes his eyes shut and grimaces. Homer, bald with stubble in a light blue shirt, widens his eyes and opens his mouth in a shocked exclamation as the scene ends.
