What happens

The Simpsons family, Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa and Maggie, sits together on the brown living room couch while Santa's Little Helper, the brown greyhound, trots across the teal carpet past a purple side table with a telephone and a lamp. In the next moments the dog stops and holds a blue object in its mouth, then the scene cuts to a blue-screen television set in the foreground showing the yellow text "CREATED BY MATT GROENING" that stays on screen. The text then changes to "DEVELOPED BY JAMES L. BROOKS MATT GROENING SAM SIMON" and remains there until the end, while a sailboat painting hangs on the pink wall above the couch.
