What happens

No Simpsons characters appear in this sequence, which is a black title-card credits roll with gold text on a plain black background. The names appear in turn: first Yeardley Smith, then Hank Azaria, then 'and Harry Shearer', then 'Special Guest Voice Phil Hartman', then 'Special Guest Voice James Earl Jones' (held across two cards), then a 'Also Starring' card listing Pamela Hayden, Tress MacNeille, Jack Ong and Russi Taylor (also held across two cards), and finally 'Animation Executive Producer Phil Roman' (held across two cards). Each name fades in and out in the same gold lettering, with no characters, settings or movement beyond the text.
