What happens

A group of cartoon kids stands on a grassy lakeside lawn beside a lifeless figure with a purple-stained head lying on the grass, including a girl with purple hair and a pink bow, a boy in a white shirt and red shorts, an Afro-haired boy in a striped shirt and green shorts, Bart in his orange shirt and blue shorts, and Milhouse with blue hair and red glasses in a lavender shirt and red shorts. Milhouse steps forward and looks toward a large tree whose branches hold a tangled mass of sticks, and the tree is shown in close view as the kids watch it. The scene ends with the tangle collapsed, its sticks scattered across the grass at the base of the trunk.
