What happens

Homer and Bart Simpson sit at the kitchen table in front of a red flower vase on a purple-and-blue sideboard, each with a bowl of red soup and a spoon. Homer, in a white shirt, gestures with one hand and later holds up a dripping red glob on his spoon while grimacing, then raises his arm and looks sideways. Bart, in an orange shirt, sits with a scowling expression, moves his hands and spoon, and eventually sits alone at the table, pulling a white napkin from the table and holding it up to his chest while looking uneasy. Marge, with her tall blue beehive and red bead necklace, appears in a close-up, talking with her mouth open, before the scene returns to Bart at the table.
