What happens

Bart, the spiky-haired boy in an orange shirt, and Ralph, the blond boy in a blue shirt and maroon pants, sit on a purple rug in front of a brown couch, with a scatter of face-down cards between them and a calculator nearby. Bart gestures with open hands and then clasps his hands nervously while Ralph holds a fan of cards and looks on with a blank, sleepy expression. The scene then shifts to a mint-green wall telephone with a keypad on a purple table, and Bart appears holding the receiver to his ear, looking wide-eyed and worried, with his expression shifting through several moods as the call continues.
