What happens
Homer Simpson, Marge, Lisa, Maggie and Bart sit on the living room couch in the Simpson house, and Homer, in a white shirt and blue pants, first gestures with an outstretched arm while standing near a red couch, then the family settles in. A large hand sweeps across the view, the screen swirls into a colorful spinning vortex, and the scene cuts to a retro television set displaying the on-screen text "CREATED BY MATT GROENING" and then "DEVELOPED BY JAMES L. BROOKS MATT GROENING SAM SIMON" in yellow letters on a blue screen.
