Homer Simpson jogs along a suburban street at dusk past mailboxes and houses while Santa's Little Helper runs alongside him

What happens

Homer Simpson, bald and heavy in a grey hooded sweatsuit, white headband and blue sneakers, jogs along a suburban street at dusk past mailboxes and houses while Santa's Little Helper, the family's brown greyhound, runs alongside him. Behind him a boy in a blue cap and green jacket pedals a red bicycle with a basket of newspapers, and later a worker in a purple shirt loads papers from the back of a white truck marked SPRINGFIELD NEWS. Homer keeps running and glances around, and a bundle of newspapers is tossed through the air above the street, with a red-roofed mailbox on a wooden post by the sidewalk. A brief blended transition shows the same street overlapping with the scene, with Homer standing by the mailbox while the dog runs past.
