Lisa presses the rewind button on a remote control at the start, and a glowing green ring appears around her remote
The Simpsons, “Treehouse of Horror IX” (season 10, episode 4), 13:42–13:54
What happens
Lisa, a girl with spiky hair and a red dress, presses the rewind button on a remote control at the start, and a glowing green ring appears around her remote. Bart, a spiky-haired boy in an orange shirt, first stands in a living room in a skeleton costume, then is swarmed by green creatures spilling from a green glowing beam that shoots out of the purple TV, and later stands with arms folded as the beam fades. The final frames show the TV screen with a black cartoon cat wielding an axe and a blue mouse, both ducking and struggling.
