What happens

No Simpsons regulars appear in this moment; it is an animated space sequence with no recognizable characters. A blue and white Earth, shown over a map of continents with swirling white clouds, sits at the center of concentric grey rings on a black starfield, and as the view pulls back it lies between two large red-striped planets, one ringed, and a small pink moon. Then a glowing blue flying saucer with a green dome and a row of lit blue lights streaks in front of the planets and the Earth, and in the closing frames the saucer hovers centered within the spiraling rings, with no on-screen text.
