What happens

Homer Simpson, Bart, Lisa, Maggie, and Marge are gathered in the family living room, with the black cat Snowball II sitting on the rug near Lisa. Homer first appears in close-up, sitting on the brown couch in a white shirt with his eyes wide and mouth open as he talks, then the view widens to show the whole family, with Bart seated on the floor at left and Marge standing at right in a green dress. Homer then raises both arms, holding up a framed sailboat picture, before spreading his arms wide as he keeps talking. Notable objects include the purple lamp, the sailboat picture on the wall, and the colorful striped rug.
