What happens

A steamship with a black funnel sails across calm blue water under a pink and purple sunset, then Homer, in a white sailor's cap, blue coat and grey sweater, stands in an arched doorway beside a red door, lifting his fist. Inside a dim, lamp-lit cabin, a moustached man in a khaki military jacket, a beret-wearing man in a striped shirt perched on a barrel, and a bald man in a white suit sit around a card table with bottles, glasses and playing cards, while a bride in a veil and a man in a tuxedo appear at the edges in the first cabin view. The card players slowly lift and turn their cigarettes and drinks as the scene goes on.
