What happens

A pitcher in a grey uniform and blue cap winds up on a dirt mound while fielders in grey jerseys numbered 10, 5 and 3 wait on a sunny ballfield, and a batter in a red helmet and white uniform stands at the plate with a masked catcher behind him. The scene widens to an empty-looking stadium with a Duff Beer sign and red-white-blue bunting, then cuts to a pink car pulling past turnstiles outside the grounds, where Homer, the bald driver in a white shirt, sits with Marge and the kids, including Bart with spiky hair, Lisa and Maggie. Homer looks startled and Bart grimaces wide-eyed in the back seat.
