What happens

Bart Simpson, the boy with spiky hair in an orange shirt, sits on the brown living room couch in front of a pink wall with a framed sailboat picture, a purple lamp and a turquoise telephone on a side table, and a tall orange-shaded floor lamp at right. He first sits with his arms spread wide and eyes closed, then holds the blue telephone receiver to his ear, his eyes rolling and his mouth gritting into a grimace, then he glances sideways with wide eyes and a pursed, skeptical expression as he listens to the call. The purple and blue rug lies on the floor below, and a small stack of books sits in the side table's lower shelf.
