What happens

A bearded, red-haired man in a long dark coat and black hat walks past the shop window of Yiddle's Jokes, where a gag hand, a crutch and a BANG! sign are displayed, and grabs the arm of a younger man in a white shirt and black suspenders who stumbles away from the window. Inside a book-lined schoolroom, students sit at green-cushioned desks with open books while a blue-haired man in a black skullcap and blue tie stands before a bookcase, reading from a large book, first pointing a finger upward and then raising a hand. The red-bearded man in the coat stands in a doorway glaring as the blue-haired man, arms spread wide, faces him.
