What happens

No characters appear in this sequence; it is an animated Halloween title card. Night sky with streaks of rain over a rocky landscape with a power line tower and a leopard-spotted sign, then the red dripping title text reads THE SIMPSONS HALLOWEEN SPECIAL II with a green II. The scene pans to a purple-tinted night view of a walled area with blue dead trees, and finally to the gates of a graveyard with a sign reading SPRINGFIELD CEMETERY, its gates open onto a path lined with pale tombstones under falling rain.
