What happens

Bart, the boy with spiky hair in an orange shirt, sits at the left of a blue-covered dining table with a bowl in front of him, and Marge, with her tall blue beehive and pink robe, stands with arms crossed in a pink archway behind him. Homer, the bald man in a brown jacket over a blue shirt, sits at the right of the table with a bowl and spoon. In the first frames Homer talks and gestures with his spoon while Marge watches, then in the middle frames he raises both hands, palms out, grinning and gesturing expansively, while Bart glances toward him. In the final frame Homer sits with his hands clasped together and a sheepish, sidelong look as Marge keeps her arms crossed. The kitchen behind them has purple cabinets, a row of pink utensils hanging on the wall, and a white appliance on the counter.
