About the episode

Homer stops at Moe's before picking up a saxophone reed for Lisa and arrives too late to spare her a humiliating talent show performance. To win her back, he takes out a loan and buys her a pony named Princess, over Marge's objections. The stabling costs force Homer to work nights at the Kwik-E-Mart for Apu, and as exhaustion takes its toll, Lisa gives the pony up.
