Apu and Homer stand behind the store counter in the Kwik-E-Mart

What happens

Apu, the Kwik-E-Mart proprietor with a dark green jacket and black hair, and Homer, wearing a light blue uniform with a 'TRAINEE' badge and a paper hat, stand behind the store counter in the Kwik-E-Mart. Apu first holds a notepad and talks to Homer, then leans over the counter with a rack of hot dogs on a roller display in front of them, and finally reaches out and pats Homer's cheek with a grin while Homer looks on with a flat, uneasy expression. Visible objects include the hot dog roller, jars of pickles on the counter, a Kwik-E-Mart poster on the wall, and a blue cabinet with a steering-wheel-like handle behind Homer.
