What happens

Bart, the spiky-haired boy in an orange shirt and blue shorts, crouches on a grassy lawn and peers at a green plastic toy soldier through a magnifying glass, moving the glass as he bends lower over the figure. Nearby, Marge, with her tall blue beehive, red bead necklace and strapless green dress, stands talking to Bart, who has his back to the viewer and a green stain on his shirt. The scene opens on a close-up of a scowling, wrinkled face washed entirely in green.
