What happens

Bart Simpson, the spiky-haired boy in an orange shirt, sits at a wooden desk in a classroom with pink-topped desks behind him, first looking up with wide eyes and an open mouth, then closing his eyes with a sly grin and clasping his hands, then spreading his arms wide while speaking, and finally leaning on the desk with a hand outstretched and a wary sidelong glance. In the last part of the sequence, Bart stands at the desk facing Mrs. Krabappel, the teacher with a tall brown hairdo, green cardigan and earring, who smiles widely while holding a red apple in her hands at her desk. Behind them, a yellow alphabet banner reading 'cDdEe' hangs above a dark blue chalkboard.
